FairTax: The Truth: Answering the Critics by Neal Boortz
This was a very compelling book that I really enjoyed. It was a very quick read. I actually really liked a book about taxes, but that was probably because they advocated doing away with the IRS and income tax.
I don't know if the Fair Tax is the correct solution or not, but I do believe that we need to simplify the tax code. I also believe that we need to reign in government spending.
